Dr. Romana Bourton grew up on the south coast of England where she received a first class honours degree in Podiatric medicine from the University of Brighton in 2012. She has enjoyed working in the private sector and for the British National Health System (NHS), gaining experience in all aspects of Podiatry.

Romana dates her love of travelling from extensive family camper van trips throughout Europe. She has spent three years working in Italy, becoming fluent in the language and forging links with Podiatry specialists at the University of Bologna where she has completed some podiatric translation.

Having always enjoyed writing and blogging, she has had several articles published including one on Podiatry for the journal ‘International Therapist’ with the aim of helping to increase public understanding and interest in Podiatry and foot health.

Romana is very excited to have moved to Winnipeg and is really looking forward to continuing her Podiatry career as part of the clinical team at The Central Foot Clinic.
