Dr. Fernando graduated from the University of Salford in England. He completed his podiatric studies in 1980. He worked for the National Health Service in Manchester before immigrating to Canada in 1981.

Dr. Fernando worked in a group practice until 1989. In 1990, he opened Central Foot Clinic in downtown Winnipeg. Located at the corner of Portage Avenue and Vaughan Street, it’s across the street from The Bay.
